Shout out Monday:
Black History Month Honor
I hesitated to have anything written about this month. Primarily b/c like so many stories about history. We are only familiar based on what was written or told.
Today, during the year of 2023. We now have access to a lot of information than ever before. We can gain insights and details that was kept away or unknown for hundreds of years.
For years since I was a little girl, I’ve always heard so much about black history month. BUT. Many of those stories were shared from prior school teachings, other public events from sources like the library, or different places that talked about the past of OUR black culture.
Ever thought to ask questions like, why is it that other cultures or ethnicities have had the right to speak about us? Or, why are they telling our stories and not us ourselves?
The main stories I’ve heard, were only known of us as slaves. I never heard of any discussions away from that prior to those daunting times.
What makes it so bad is, I’ve never heard anything that actually made sense totally all the way. What do I mean by this?
Well. Everything was so estranged. Even stories I’ve heard from the Bible or in church were shared, but shared differently in other places.
I’ve heard similar stories from the Bible etc shared in school etc but with a twisted narrative replaced with other things or people for example, Michaelangelo did that.
I, as a proud confident black women myself. I found those teachings to be obscured and obsolete stories.
With the awareness I’ve gained. Seeing the repetitiveness of these stories that are annually told to you. Are just “stories” shared kept to degrades us, speaking negatively of us, and keeping us in the dark.
Those stories are the matrix mental programming that tries to keep us downplayed and shelters us from knowing about our true selves and our true history.
This heightened my concerns leading me into a direction where I decided to do some research. I desired to get a better understand of know who we are, where we’ve come from, and the development of our lives.
Through my discovery, I learned about my people and our history. You should too, especially rather than relying on the data from public records. You should do this for everything. Research is very important and a key to living a more profound life.
Anyways~
As I assumed and it turns out, there’s a whole lot more info for you to know and learn about rather than the same old story that has ever been played on the annual record player told over and over and over again.
My assumptions helped me to learn more about us on a deeper level than what many of us has been told and what we are unfamiliar to.
Today, I HONOR my people from every corner of the earth that was every scrutinize, lied to, disrespected, ridiculed, mistreated, abused, used, or treated like fools. These tactics were placed just to cover our lives, to cover the truth of our people, of our heritage, the work we’ve done, and the things we’ve built.
We’ve been called stupid, ghetto, niggers, dump, ugly, and all kinds of stuff. Stuff that you wouldn’t dare to think was a form of human interactions having the consciousness of love. We’ve been intentionally taught to hate ourselves, hate on one another, and it was working until the final destination for us to take full control over our lives began.
We’ve been told by STATISTICS that we are one of the most under developed, uneducated, laziest individuals that lacks the measures for reading, writing, human capabilities, etc.
Honestly that used to piss me off b/c since I was a little girl. Both my parents always pushed us to have a little bit of integrity. So it’s all a bunch of BS.
We’ve been so lied to and mistreated for so long that so many of us rather to run away from who we are. Then you have others who mixes with other races to get rid of our color, our hair as well, to deny our very existence as pure and naturally beautiful blackness of all gorgeous different color shades that we are.
We have been confining and resorting to outside influences to make us forget the traumas and tragedy we’ve endured for so long. The question is, are we healing the right way? Or are we thriving or just surviving?
After hundreds of years we still have many who are trying to heal from those memories recollected and restored from the hurt and pain that was caused and was afflicted upon us.
Don’t get me wrong. Like, so much has changed and a lot has improved. We’re coming along well in so many ways. Yes, but we still have a ways to go as a collective.
I used to think the nature of our being was dying off like the animals who became extinct. Why, b/c during a rise of time it seemed like ever where I go there was so much negativity being said and it seems no matter where I’d go. Everyone wanted to escape.
But now, I see things differently. Now thankful to technology and the rise of those who are taking a stand for wholeness. We have so many waking up to truth and standing firm in the power of positivity and love.
We have relied upon the churches, the governments, and all kinds of external forces, factors, and systems to help us out. But the truth is, they’ve failed. The only way out is…we have got to help out ourselves and each other.
You see. Before civilization, the one that we are so familiar with around us. We, BLACK PEOPLE were the primitive of existence. We were rulers, emperors, empresses, kings, and queens. We have had the greatest experience of evolution. B/c of such, much of what we see around you had evolved from our earlier times. We have so much wealth that accumulated from our ancestors. But they haven’t shared any of this stuff with us.
From the clothes we wear, being the first legendary fashion icons, and still even today in 2023 there are soooo many of the trends that models us from our true heritage and heroism. Things from clothing, hair styles, how we speak, our music, our food, should I go on? We’ve taught the world how to chill out and have a good time. Go search it up for yourself and see.
We’ve built the cities and accumulated much of the created lands, we have always and I notice still have a profound existing of how we truly love and adore our kids, we teach our children values, morals, principles, we were and are highly favored and highly respected.
Having so much to offer in the beginning of time. It caused strife then the need for power, money, and control made its way. These things from our time was taken away from us. From our truest birthright, to our purest inheritance of abundance from the earth. Causing us to grow cold and bitter.
It baffles me that no matter where you go, people still to this day have so many negative understanding of us. Even for some of our own kind, we so ourselves. That’s ok!
When I hear how others puts us down, I try to walk away or just not get involved. B/c this is exactly how and why these false stories, false identities were created about us. It is exactly why for years people have perceived and found so many of their ignorance as a way to reject us and judge us.
Every ethnicity has a downside just like the yin and yang, protons and electrons, positives and negatives. That doesn’t justify us to make us all out to be individually so.
I’m grateful to have the ability to share my thoughts with you. I’m thankful for the discovery of the power of positive thinking and how we are energy.
This is what gives me the pleasure to enjoy life. This is what has enlightened me to know who we are. We are energetic beings, living in a magnetic field (I’ll get into this later). This is what has caused us and others to know, learn, and see us, or speaks of us in such a negative ways. We are allowing it and interacting with it.
This is why it is so important that we should learn, know, and speak to create our world in positive ways. I could agree, it’s not so easy to do. It takes time, patience, and the desires to learn to do so. The gift is you can, you have the ability too.
Here’s something you should know. Here’s the truth, “the facts” are, we (black people) are one of the most amazing beings with endless beauty and have so many wonderful stories. Stories that talk about our background of the wealth we have and the wealth we were born into.
We are the creators of our own world. We have the power to take back our identity and formulate our culture to its maximum significance.
Just like all others races having many relatable characteristics and personalities that are displayed in the same negative way. So what if it pin points directed to us. It’s simply b/c we are so special. We are the light in this world. Our light was giving to shine bright.
Don’t just listen to what I’ve shared. I encourage you, get familiar to this information yourself. I hope that you will understand who we are in the very incredible ways I learned.
This Shout Out Monday is for my people, my ancestors, my bloodline, and all that is working for us and our highest good. Those that came before and those that came after and those who are here now. We thank you🙏🏾
We are truly grateful for you taking the opportunity to stand strong so that we may live. We stand strong in liberty to fight this fight by faith and not by sight. To take the torch that was passed to us and keep that fire lit to bring us our generations the greatest evolution of time.
This is for our children, future children, and generations to come. We are intellectual, intelligent beings filled with passion. This is for us discovering our truest and greatest potentials. As we stand strong to respect and honor one another for one human race towards each other.
One blood, one race, one love in this world as we are here together.

This is so true! There’s so much that hasn’t been taught. And the truth is, many blacks were kings, queens, and affluent people. But we’ve been led to believe otherwise; only the stories of oppression… so that we would not know our worth.
